The Al Teglia Jobs for Youth Endowment Fund
The Al Teglia Jobs for Youth Endowment Fund is a component of the Jobs for Youth program which provides vocational and educational scholarships. Scholarship awardees are recognized at the annual Jobs for Youth Fundraising Breakfast event. College and Vocational Scholarships
The year-round, nonprofit Jobs for Youth program serves our young people, ages 14 to 21, regardless of background, socio-economic, or risk-level, at no cost to them or to employers. Youths learn to master job applications, prepare for interviews, create resumés, and they receive job and/or internship leads. A special scholarship fund was created for the purpose of higher education for the youth of San Mateo County and provides both college and vocational scholarships for youth.
